Compound Comparison

Overlay pharmacokinetic curves and compare PK specs side by side.

Add compounds on the left to overlay their curves.

Educational use only — not medical advice. Curves use a fixed representative schedule (default dose, weekly, accumulating) to isolate each compound's intrinsic pharmacokinetics. For your own schedule, use the plotter.

About this tool

The compound comparison tool overlays the pharmacokinetic curves of two or more compounds so you can see how they differ in peak, half-life, and steady-state behavior. Pick the compounds and your dose schedule, and the tool plots them on shared axes with a side-by-side data table. It is built for comparing esters, peptide analogs, or any two compounds you're weighing.

How to use it

  1. 1 Select two or more compounds to compare.
  2. 2 Enter a dose and schedule for each.
  3. 3 View the overlaid PK curves and the comparison table.
  4. 4 Use the chart to compare peak, trough, and half-life.

Frequently asked questions

What does the PK curve show?

It shows the modeled concentration of each compound over time based on its half-life and your dosing schedule. Peak height, time to peak, and trough depth are all visible, which is what drives the differences in effect and side effects.

How accurate is the comparison?

It uses a linear one-compartment model, which is an approximation. Real-world peaks and troughs depend on individual metabolism, injection site, and dose. Treat it as a directional comparison, not a precise prediction.
