Testosterone Suspension

Cycle length

Ester-free injectable testosterone (water base). Very sharp peaks; dosed daily.

Key takeaways

  • Ester-free testosterone in water; fastest onset of any injectable, peaking around 6 hours.
  • Apparent ~33-hour half-life; daily injection is standard, and the curve leans on animal data.
  • Sharp daily peaks drive bigger estradiol and hematocrit swings than esters.
  • Water base plus daily injections: sterile technique matters most here.

Frequently asked questions

Why does suspension hurt more than esters?

Two reasons: the water base carries no oil to buffer the depot, and testosterone base crystals can sit in the muscle before dissolving. Reports of post-injection pain are consistently worse than with oil-based esters, though severity varies by product and site.

Does suspension clear faster for drug testing?

Not meaningfully. The parent testosterone clears in days, but anti-doping tests track the T/E ratio and carbon-isotope signature, which stay abnormal well past the last injection. The idea that no ester means no detection is a myth.

Is the suspension half-life really 33 hours?

That figure is an apparent half-life: it describes how fast the depot absorbs and declines, not true elimination of testosterone, which runs in minutes to hours. It's also calibrated partly from equine data, so the human curve is approximate.
