CJC-1295 without DAC (Modified GRF 1-29)

Mod GRF 1-29 · CJC-1295 NO DAC · CJC no DAC

Short-acting GHRH analog (~30 min half-life) usually paired with a GHRP for pulsatile GH release.

Overview

CJC-1295 without DAC, also called modified GRF 1-29, is a short-acting synthetic analog of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH). It is engineered with four amino acid substitutions that resist enzymatic degradation, and it works at GHRH receptors on the pituitary to stimulate growth hormone release in a pulsatile, physiologic pattern. Without the drug affinity complex (DAC) found in the longer-acting version, its half-life drops to roughly 30 minutes with around 60% subcutaneous bioavailability. That short residence time is why it is typically paired with a GHRP like ipamorelin or GHRP-2, since the two classes amplify GH release through different pathways. CJC-1295 without DAC reached early clinical study but is not an approved medication.
