# SHRED

*Also known as: Shred*

Standard MIC/B12 lipotropic injection (L-carnitine, B12, B6, inositol, methionine, choline).

## Overview

SHRED is a standard compounded lipotropic injection that pairs the MIC triad with L-carnitine and B vitamins. Per the vendor formula it contains L-carnitine, hydroxocobalamin (B12), pyridoxine (B6), inositol, methionine, and choline. This is the most common lipotropic cocktail sold in weight-loss clinics, and it is essentially the baseline MIC-plus-carnitine-plus-B12 shot that the more elaborate Lipo blends build on. Evidence that these injections produce clinically meaningful weight loss is weak: the underlying rationale (hepatic fat metabolism plus mitochondrial fatty-acid transport) is biochemically plausible, but the human trial data is thin and dominated by small older studies. There is no pharmacokinetic characterization of the combination. We list it for catalog completeness as a clinic-compounded product, not an established therapy. It is excluded from the plotter.
