# LC120 Lipo-C

*Also known as: Lipo-C, LC120*

Lipotropic injection of methionine, choline, carnitine, and dexpanthenol used in weight-loss protocols.

## Overview

LC120 Lipo-C is a compounded lipotropic injection combining methionine (15 mg/mL), choline (50 mg/mL), L-carnitine (50 mg/mL), and dexpanthenol (vitamin B5, 5 mg/mL). The rationale is that methionine and choline support hepatic fat metabolism (the MIC core), carnitine shuttles fatty acids into mitochondria for oxidation, and B5 supports coenzyme A synthesis. The overall evidence that MIC-style injections produce meaningful weight loss in humans is thin; small older studies and clinic testimonials dominate the literature, with few quality randomized trials. There is essentially no pharmacokinetic characterization of the blend as a unit. We list it for catalog completeness as a compounded product sold in weight-loss clinics, not as an evidence-based weight-loss therapy. It is excluded from the plotter.
